Program Description:
The Certificate of Applied Counselling Studies with a specialization in Life Skills Coaching focuses on the application of theories and concepts used by professional Life Skill coaches in a wide variety of personal and business-related situations. Students learn to differentiate between the scope of practice of counsellors and Life Skill coaches. Interactive exercises introduce skills routinely used by consultants for businesses and private clients; interviewing, problem clarification, goal setting, education, and advising clients in specific problem situations.
