On Campus Program

Here's a snapshot of what to expect from studying at our Kelowna Campus.

Assignments are interactive and dynamic:

• Each day features discussions, demonstrations, videos, and skill practice exercises. Guest speakers and field trips may be scheduled.
• Practice sessions simulate employment in a variety of mental health & counselling situations.
• Small class size and group projects promote self discovery and friendships.
• Courses scheduled on a continuous rotation. Join at the beginning of any course.
• Class meets 4 hours a day M-F. New course topic every 3 weeks.
• Students have unlimited access to an online library of webinars, videos, research, and counselling tools.
• KCPC meets the highest accreditation standards for private colleges in British Columbia.
• Instructors are professional counsellors, psychologists, social workers.

Will I find a job after I graduate?

That is a question on every student's mind. KCPC cannot guarantee job results, but we will do everything possible to prepare you for employment and teach you how to start a private practice. Focus on building a career plan as you progress through the program, so by the time you graduate you'll hit the ground running (see Careers section).
